Now, Ramu chops off controversial scenes

After Prakash Jha edited controversial scenes from Aarakshan, it's RGV's turn to do the same for evading legal trouble, reports Mid Day.

The director received notices from Maria Susairaj and Emile Jerome Matthew demanding to hold the release of the film. Maria and Jerome also sent their respective notices to the Board.

"Since Not A Love Story is yet to get a clearance from the Censor Board, Ramu can't let anything jeopardise the release next Friday," a source told Mid Day.

Now the director wants to make sure that the film hits the theatres as per schedule. "He doesn't want any 'going back and forth' like it happened before getting the trailers cleared last month for promotions on satellite television. So he's keeping ready a copy of the film with the controversial scenes toned down," added the source.

RGV, however, maintains that the film is not based on Neeraj Grover murder case.
